THE POLAR FLEECE FIBERS
FLEECEMATERIAL
La bre polaire est un produit issu du pétrole. Il s’agit
d’un polymère appelé PolyéthylèneTéréphtalate ou
PET. Ce produit appartient à la famille des Polyesters.
L’un des premiers textiles polaires fut fabriqué en 1979.
Les vêtements en bres polaires sont légers, chauds et
confortables ; La construction du tissu permet à l’air de
se coincer entre les bres et d’être chau é par la chaleur
corporelle pour fournir une isolation à l’utilisateur. Ils
sèchent rapidement et laissent respirer la peau.
Bien que ce textile soit issu de la pétrochimie, il est
recyclable à l’in ni.
Dans un souci de développement durable, certaines
bres polaires sont produites à partir du recyclage de
bouteilles plastiques (Il faut entre 40 et 50 bouteilles en
plastique pour concevoir une polaire).
> Produit respirant avec une excellente isola-
tion contre le froid, indéformable
L’isolation thermique permet de conserver la chaleur du
corps tout en permettant une certaine respirabilité.
La
résistance
thermique
se situe dans la capacité
des brins de stocker de l’air qui est l’isolant du tissu
polaire et sa
respirabilité
qui permet à l’humidité
du corps de traverser le tissu.
Grâce à sa méthode de fabrication, le tricotage
permet aux bres de revenir en place et le tissu est
auto défroissable et donc sans repassage.
> Résistance à
l’usure
La fabrication avec des bres synthétiques lui confère
une très haute résistance à l’usure.
Remarque : le traitement anti boulochage ou anti
pilling donne à ce tissu un aspect constant malgré de
multiples lavages.
Résistance bien supérieure à des produits en laine.
> Douceur
Le traitement de brossage sur la pièce lui donne cet
aspect velours et lui confère une douceur incompa-
rable ; sensation velours.
Insensibilité aux mites.
En tant que matière synthétique les mites n’en
ra olent pas, stockage du produit plus facile.
> Hydrophobe
C’est un tissu performant, le fait d’être hydrophobe
cela signi e que les bres détestent l’eau, elles
absorbent moins de 1 % de leur poids même si le
tissu est trempé. Excellent pouvoir diathermique :
séchage extrêmement rapide, gain de temps au
lavage. La bre polaire peut être quali ée deWash
andWear ce qui signi e un entretien facile.
> Traitement anti pilling
(anti boulochage)
C’est une nition qui empêche les bres de se
séparer les unes des autres et de former des peluches
sur la surface du produit, ainsi cela lui apporte une
meilleure résistance au lavage et à l’usure.
The eece is a product coming from oil.
It is a polymer called polyethylene or tereph-
thalate PET. This product belongs to the family
of polyesters. It is one of the rst polar textiles
manufactured in 1979.
Fleece garments are lightweight, warm and com-
fortable; the fabric construction allows air to be
trapped between the bers and being heated by
body heat to provide insulation to the end user.
They dry quickly and allow the skin to breathe.
Although this textile is made from petrochemi-
cals, it is in nitely recyclable.
In the interests of sustainable development, some
polar bers are produced from recycled plastic
bottles (It takes between 40 and 50 plastic bottles
to design a pole).
> Breathable product with an excellent cold
insulation, keeps its shape.
Thermic insulation keeps the warmth of the body
while it also has a certain breathability.
The
thermic resistance
is the capacity of the bers
to keep tiny air spaces which is the insulator of
polar eece fabric and its
breathability
which
permits the humidity of the body to get through
the fabric.
Thanks to the manufacturing process, knitting
allows the bres to get back in their proper place
and smooths out itself and is therefor ironfree.
>Wear
resistance
Made in synthetic bres gives a very high
resistance in use.
Note: the anti pilling treatment gives this bre a
stable aspect despite numerous washings. Much
higher resistance than wool products.
> Softness
The brushing treatment on the garment gives it
this velvet aspect and confers an incomparable
softness; velvet feeli ng.
Insensitivity to cloth moths.
Cloth moths do not like synthetic material;
the storage of this product is easier.
> Hydrophobic
It is a high-performance fabric, the fact of being
hydrophobic means that the bres hate water,
they absorb less than 1 % of their weight even if
the fabric is soaked. Excellent diathermic capacity:
extremely fast drying, saving of washing time.
The polar eece bre can be described as Wash
andWear which means an easy maintenance.
> Anti pilling Treatment
It is a nish treatment, which prevents bres
to separate and to form u s on the surface of
the product, thus it gives a better resistance to
washing and to usage.
Fleece ist ein Produkt auf Erdölbasis. Es handelt
sich um ein Polymer mit dem Namen Polyethylen
Terephtalat bzw. PET. Dieser Sto gehört zur Familie
der Polyester. Einer der ersten Fleece-Sto e wurde im
Jahr 1979 hergestellt.
Kleidungsstücke aus Fleece sind leicht, warmund bequem.
Bedingt durch den Aufbau des Fleece-Sto s, wird die zwi-
schen den Fasern gehaltene Luft durch die Körperwärme
erwärmt und bietet demTräger eineWärmeisolierung.
Fleece trocknet schnell und lässt die Haut atmen.
Obgleich dieser Sto aus Erdöl hergestellt wird, kann
er beliebig oft recycelt werden. Im Sinne der nachhalti-
gen Entwicklung werden bestimmte Fleece-Fasern aus
recycelten Plastik aschen hergestellt: Für eine Fleece-Ja-
cke werden zwischen 40 und 50 Plastik aschen benötigt.
> Atmungsaktives Produkt mit hohem Kältewi-
derstand, formbeständig.
Die thermische Isolation ermöglicht die Erhaltung der
Körperwärme, ohne die atmungsaktiven Eigenschaften
zu beschädigen. DieWärmeisolierung entsteht dank
der Fähigkeit der Fädchen, Luft zu speichern, die das
Isolationsmittel des Fleecesto es ist. Sie entsteht auch
dank der atmungsaktiven Eigenschaften des Sto es,
die der Körperfeuchtigkeit ermöglicht, durch den Sto
durchzudringen. Das Herstellungsverfahren ermöglicht es
den Fasern des gestrickten Sto es wieder zusammenzie-
hen, daher ist dieses Material knitterarm und bügelfrei.
> Verschleißfestigkeit
Die Herstellung mit synthetischen Fasern verleiht ihm
eine sehr hohe Verschleißfestigkeit.
Anmerkung : Die Anti-Pilling Ausrüstung verleiht dem
Sto ein dauerhaft korrektes Aussehen, auch nach
mehrerenWäschen.
Die Festigkeit ist viel höher als bei Wolltextilien.
>Weichheit
Die aufgeraute Ober äche der Kleidung verleiht ihr Samt
ähnliches Aussehen und unvergleichbareWeichheit.
Sicher vor Motten
Synthetische Sto e sind bei Motten unbeliebt, daher
problemlose Lagerung.
> Hydrophob
Es geht um einen leistungsfähigen Sto : Hydrophobie
bedeutet, dass die Fasern das Wasser scheuen.
Sie absorbieren weniger als 1 % ihres Gewichts, auch
wenn der Sto inWasser getaucht wird.
Ausgezeichnetes diathermisches Vermögen: extrem
schnelles Trocknen, Zeitersparnis bei der Reinigung.
Die Fleecematerial kannWash andWear genannt wer-
den, was bedeutet, dass die Kleidung p egeleicht ist.
> Anti-Pilling Ausrüstung
Diese Behandlung der Fasern verhindert, dass sie sich
aufspalten und das Entstehen kleiner Fuselkügelchen
wird so vermieden. So ist die Kleidung reinigungs- und
verschleißfest.
