Le coton est une bre naturelle d’origine végétale
issue des poils de la graine du cotonnier. Il se
caractérise par son confort, son aspect, sa facilité de
mise en œuvre.
Le coton est en général très élastique. Il Supporte
de hautes températures et une forte résistance aux
lavages et est très absorbant.
A n de mettre au pro t le confort du coton, on le
mélange avec du polyester, bre synthétique très
résistante et auto défroissable pour obtenir un tissu
doux et résistant à la fois.
Le plus souvent, le polycoton se compose de 65%
polyester et 35% coton.

Cotton is a natural vegetable ber from the hairs
surrounding the seeds on the cotton plant. It’s
known for its comfort, aspect and is easy to spin.
Cotton, in general, is very elastic. It can withstand
high temperatures, has high washability and very
absorbant.
In order to pro t from cotton’s comfort, it’s blended
with the synthetic ber polyester which is very
resistant and self smoothing out to obtain a soft
and resistant fabric.
Polycotton is mostly composed by 65% polyester
and 35% cotton.

POLYESTER-BAUMWOLLE
Die Baumwolle ist eine Naturfaser aus p anzlicher
Herkunft, die aus den Samenhaaren der Baum-
wollsträucher gewonnen wird. Zu ihren Merkmalen
gehören ihrTragekomfort, ihr Aussehen und ihre Ferti-
gungsqualität. Baumwolle ist generell sehr elastisch.
Sie ist beständig gegen hohe Temperaturen sowie
Reinigung und wirkt stark absorbierend.
Für noch höheren Tragekomfort der Baumwolle,
wird sie mit Polyester (sehr feste und knitterarme
synthetische Faser) gemischt. Der Sto wird somit
geschmeidig und gleichzeitig robust.
Meistens besteht Polybaumwolle aus 65 % Polyes-
ter und 35 % Baumwolle.
