There is no good fall arrest systemwithout a good anchorage point.Whatever the type of intervention to achieve and that it is temporary or regular, it
is essential to correctly choose its anchor point and verify that the host structure (building, steel structure, tower, ...) is sufficiently resistant.

The anchor point is undoubtedly the part of a fall arrest system that is tricky to choose to ensure optimumsafety. When choosing the anchor point the first thing to
do is to determinewhere to install it. For thiswemust take into account the following aspects:

Le point d'ancrage est incontestablement l'élément d'un système antichute le plus délicat à choisir afin qu'il garantisse une sécurité optimale. Lors du choix du
point d'ancrage il faut tout d'abord déterminer où installer le point d'ancrage. Pour cela il faut prendre en compte les aspects suivants :
résistance statique du point d'ancrage : > 10 kN
hauteur d'installation : suffisamment haut par rapport au 1er obstacle potentiel en cas de chute (voir schéma facteur de chute)
situation : en vertical de la station de travail afin d'éviter les risques liés à l'effet pendulaire (voir schéma effet pendulaire)
